First Aid Board Game

Meet the new way to learn first aid skills

Previous
Next

Reach4daBeat has taken Snakes and Ladders and turned it into a really exciting board game about first aid: the ladders and snakes are replaced by long bendy arms that have fingers pointing you up or down the board. They represent real life first aid scenarios you might face when trying to aid a casualty.Land on a square with a question mark, and your opponent picks up a first aid general knowledge quiz question which you win if answered correctly.

A game for all the family to play, be entertained, educated and subtly taught how deal with treatable injuries. This game kindly implies we all can be first aiders and learning first aid skills can help save lives.

A quick and easy way to play is without using the cards. This is best suited for younger children. With cards a players who lands on a squaremarked with a question mark must pick out a cards from the pack for each .The card is read to the player who must answer correctly to win the card. The game stops once someone reaches the final square and the winner is the one with the most cards and is on or close to the final square. Helps to teach kids to focus
Kids today live in a world filled with distractions, playing a game like this will encourage them to be attentive and not have them wander off if its not their turn yet. I have found with younger children they are best motivated when they see they have a chance to win. With older children its often the case they would want to show off how much knowledge they have , this means they will listen intensely to questions and answers.
